• Where should I install my Thermasol steam generator?

  The generator can be placed up to 50 feet away from the shower location. Ideal locations include a closet, vanity cabinet, climate-controlled attic, or basement. Do NOT install a generator inside the steam room or anywhere it could freeze.

• How high should the Thermasol steamhead be installed?

  The steamhead should be installed 24 inches from the floor or bathtub rim and 6 inches from any corner. It should be mounted as far as possible from the typical bathing seating point and as far away from the in-shower controller as practical.

• Can I install valves or traps in the steam line?

  No. The flow of steam MUST be unobstructed. Do not install any shut-off valves or plumb any traps in the steam line, as this can create a steam trap blocking the flow of steam.
