Portland General Electric support FAQ

Soalan lazim tentang manual, pendaftaran dan sokongan untuk jenama ini.

  • Where can I see my excess solar generation on my PGE bill?

awak boleh view your excess generation summary by logging into your PGE account, navigating to View Bill, clicking on Download Bill, and checking the third page of your statement.

  • How much does the PGE Net Metering application cost?

For residential customers with systems of 25 kW or less, the application is typically free of charge unless a Tier 4 study is required. For Commercial/Industrial customers with 25 kW to 2 MW systems, the application fee is $50 plus $1/kW.

  • Why do I still have a bill if I have solar panels installed?

Net metering offsets a portion of your energy use. PGE customers are still responsible for a monthly basic service charge, typically between $11 and $13, which covers customer service and grid maintenance.

  • Can I use my solar panels during a power outage?

Standard grid-tied solar panels will not provide power during an outage unless you have an integrated battery storage system equipped for backup power.
