BlueSleuth-Lite is a professional-grade, pocket-sized detector built by Berkeley Varitronics Systems (BVS) to locate hidden Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) personal tags and other nearby wireless devices.
It is explicitly designed to identify unauthorized consumer trackers such as Apple AirTags, Samsung SmartTags, and Tile Trackers to prevent unwanted tracking and stalking. The device features both Basic and Pro modes for intuitive visual tracking or high-precision numerical dBm measurements. Additionally, the BlueSleuth-Lite can continuously scan for a wide variety of wireless IoT devices, earbuds, and smartphones.

What devices can the BlueSleuth-Lite detect?
BlueSleuth-Lite detects hidden BLE personal trackers and tags, including Apple AirTag, Samsung SmartTag, Tile Trackers, Chipolo, Eufy, and PebbleBee. It can also detect wireless earbuds, smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, and various wireless IoT devices.

How do I charge my BlueSleuth-Lite?
You can charge the unit using the included USB Mini cable or wirelessly by placing it on the included Qi wireless charging pad. The LED will turn red during wireless charging and green during USB charging until it is fully charged.

What is the difference between Basic Mode and Pro Mode?
Basic Mode displays graphical color-coded signal strength bars similar to a commercial cell phone interface. Pro Mode provides fine-tuned numerical dBm measurement displays that security professionals typically use for precision tracking.

How do I update the firmness on my BlueSleuth-Lite?
Firmware updates are processed directly through the device's USB Mini port. BVS occasionally releases updates to include detection for newly introduced BLE tags.
