This device is designed for accurate measurement of moisture content in various materials, primarily wood, as well as concrete, mortar, and brick. Its pin-type design allows for precise readings, while features like a backlit LCD, audible/visual alerts, data hold, and max/min value tracking enhance usability. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure correct usage and optimal performance.

• Do not attempt to measure live electrical circuits. This device is not designed for electrical testing.

4. Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Bateri

The Elitech MOT-270W requires one (1) AAA battery (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:

1. Cari penutup petak bateri di bahagian belakang peranti.
2. Luncurkan atau buka klip penutup untuk membuka petak.
3. Masukkan satu bateri AAA, pastikan kekutuban yang betul (+/-) seperti yang ditunjukkan di dalam petak.

4.2 Kuasa Awal Hidup

Selepas memasang bateri, tekan butang kuasa button to turn on the device. The LCD display will illuminate, and the meter will perform a brief self-test before entering measurement mode.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Mengambil Pengukuran

1. Tanggalkan penutup pelindung dari pin ukuran.
2. Select the appropriate material mode (see Section 5.2).
3. Firmly press the two measurement pins into the material you wish to test. Ensure both pins penetrate the surface to obtain an accurate reading.

5. For materials where readings might fluctuate quickly, consider using the Data Hold or MAX/MIN functions (see Section 5.3).
6. After measurement, carefully withdraw the pins and replace the protective cap.

5.2 Material Modes (Measurement Gears)

5.3 Data Functions

5.3.1 Fungsi Pegangan Data

The Data Hold function allows you to freeze the current measurement on the display, which is useful when taking readings in hard-to-reach areas or when the value is fluctuating.

1. While taking a measurement, press the TAHAN button. The current reading will be held on the display.
2. Tekan ke TAHAN button again to release the hold and resume live measurement.

5.3.2 MAX/MIN Value Tracking

This function allows you to track the maximum and minimum moisture content detected during a measurement session.

1. Tekan ke SET button to activate MAX/MIN mode. The display will show "MAX" or "MIN".
2. As you take measurements, the display will update to show the highest (MAX) or lowest (MIN) value recorded.
3. Tekan ke SET button again to switch between MAX and MIN display.
4. To exit MAX/MIN mode, press and hold the SET butang.

6. Penyelenggaraan

• Pembersihan: Lap peranti dengan kain lembut dan kering. Jangan gunakan pembersih atau pelarut yang melelas.
• Penjagaan Probe: Keep the measurement pins clean and free of debris. Always replace the protective cap when not in use to prevent damage to the pins and accidental injury.
• Storan: Store the meter in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods.
• Penggantian Bateri: Replace the AAA battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure accurate readings.
