4. Panduan Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Cakera Keras

4.2 Menyambung ke Komputer Anda

1. Connect one end of the provided USB-C 2-in-1 data cable to the Type-C port on the ORICO enclosure.
2. Connect the other end of the data cable to an available USB-A or USB-C port on your computer.
3. Connect the 12V/4A power adapter to the power input port on the enclosure, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
4. Power on the enclosure using the power button (if available). The indicator lights will illuminate.

5. Operasi

5.1 Initializing New Hard Drives

If you are using new hard drives, they may need to be initialized, partitioned, and formatted before they can be used.

• Windows: Open Disk Management (Right-click "This PC" > "Manage" > "Disk Management"). Locate the new drive, right-click it, and select "Initialize Disk." Follow the prompts to create a new simple volume and format it.
• OS Mac: Open Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility). Select the new drive, click "Erase," choose a format (e.g., APFS or Mac OS Extended), and confirm.

Note: If multiple disks are used simultaneously, the transfer speed may be slightly reduced.

5.3 Smart Sleep Function

The enclosure features a smart sleep technology. If there is no data activity for approximately 10 minutes, the hard drives will automatically enter sleep mode. This reduces power consumption and helps to prolong the lifespan of your hard drives. The drives will wake up automatically upon access.

To ensure proper airflow and prevent dust buildup, periodically clean the exterior of the enclosure with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
