This kit is designed to enhance the functionality and protection of your Panasonic LUMIX S1 II, S1 IIE, or S1R II camera, offering multiple accessory mounting points and improved handling.

3. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

Follow these steps to properly install the cage kit onto your camera:

1. Sediakan Kamera: Ensure your camera is powered off. If your camera has side lock adapters, remove them before installing the cage.
2. Pasangkan Sangkar: Position the camera within the cage. Secure the camera using the one bottom 1/4"-20 screw and the two side lock adapters. The cage features rubber pads to prevent scratching the camera body.



3. Install the Top Handle: Attach the top handle to the designated mounting points on the cage. This handle is ergonomically designed for comfortable grip during low-angle shooting and provides additional expansion options.



4. Pasangkan Kabel Clamp: Selamatkan kabel clamp for HDMI & USB-C cables to the side of the cage using the thumbscrew. This clamp fixes both HDMI and USB-C cables simultaneously, ensuring stable data transmission and preventing accidental disconnections. Nota: Kabel clamp is only compatible with LUMIX S1 II / S1 IIE / S1R II cameras.

The SmallRig Cage Kit 4903 offers various features to enhance your camera setup:

These allow for attachment of side handles (e.g., ID:3323, ID:4485), SSD holders (e.g., ID: BSH2343), microphones, LED video lights, monitors (e.g., Monitor Mount ID: 2903B), and other accessories.



• Quick Switching between Horizontal and Vertical Shooting: The top handle supports quick disassembly and reattachment, facilitating seamless transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations.
• Plat Pelepasan Pantas Arca-Swiss: The bottom of the cage features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick release plate, enabling rapid transitions between DJI RS series stabilizers (RS 2/ RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals) and Arca-compatible tripods. It also includes a threaded hole for the Arca-Swiss Quick Release Plate (ID: 3154).

• Pembersihan: Wipe the cage and accessories with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Pemeriksaan: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Use the magnetic wrench provided for tightening if necessary.
• Storan: Store the cage kit in a dry, clean environment away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight when not in use.

If you encounter any issues with your SmallRig Cage Kit, consider the following:

• Sambungan longgar: If accessories feel unstable, ensure all screws, especially the main camera attachment screws and side lock adapters, are securely tightened.
• Keserasian Aksesori: Verify that any third-party accessories are compatible with the mounting points (1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, cold shoe, NATO rail).
• Kabel Clamp Keserasian: Kabel clamp for HDMI & USB-C is specifically designed for LUMIX S1 II / S1 IIE / S1R II cameras. It may not fit other camera models, even if the cage itself is compatible.
• XLR Unit Compatibility: The cage is compatible with Panasonic DMW-XLR1 / XLR2, but the top handle included in this kit is not. If you intend to use DMW-XLR1 / XLR2, it is recommended to use a compatible top handle such as SmallRig Top Handle for Sony XLR-K1M / K2M / K3M and for Panasonic DMW-XLR1 / XLR2 3082. When using the 3082, remove the cable clamp on the bottom of the XLR unit.
