1. Pengenalan

2. Persediaan

Before first use, please follow these steps to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee machine.

2.1 Membongkar dan Meletakkan

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the machine on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is enough clearance above the machine to remove the water tank for refilling (approximately 16.7 inches total height when tank is removed).

2.2 Mengisi Tangki Air

Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, filtered water up to the MAX line. Using filtered water is highly recommended to reduce scale buildup and prolong the machine's life. Reinsert the water tank securely.

2.3 Menambah Biji Kopi

Open the lid of the bean hopper located on top of the machine. Pour whole coffee beans into the hopper. The lid features a rubber gasket to help keep beans fresh. Close the lid firmly.

2.4 Kitaran Bilas Permulaan

After plugging in the machine, it will perform an automatic rinse cycle. Place a cup under the dispenser. This ensures the internal system is clean and ready for brewing.

3. Arahan Operasi

Your Tchibo coffee machine offers simple, intuitive operation via its LED touch panel.

3.1 Melaraskan Tetapan Kisar

The built-in grinder has adjustable settings for different roast types. The grind setting knob is located inside the bean hopper. Adjust the grind level only while the grinder is running to prevent damage. Finer grinds typically result in stronger brews.

3.2 Membancuh Espresso

Place an espresso cup under the adjustable dispenser. The dispenser can be moved up or down to accommodate various cup sizes. Select the espresso option on the LED touch panel. The machine will grind the beans, pre-infuse the coffee, and then brew your espresso. A light illuminates the cup during brewing for convenience.

3.3 Membancuh Kopi

Place your desired cup under the dispenser. Select the coffee option on the LED touch panel. For a stronger brew, you can select the extra beans option (indicated by a bean+ symbol) which will grind a slightly larger amount of coffee. The machine will perform a pre-infusion cycle before brewing for optimal flavor extraction.

3.4 Adjusting Brew Volume

While the machine is dispensing, you can press and hold the brew button to adjust the volume of your coffee. Release the button when the desired volume is reached. This new volume will be saved as the default for future brews of that type.

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your Tchibo coffee machine.

The front-attached drip tray secures magnetically and can be swiftly removed for cleaning. Empty and rinse the drip tray regularly to prevent overflow and maintain hygiene.

The brewing unit is easily accessible from the side of the machine. Simply press the flap on the side to open the compartment. The brew group can be removed, rinsed under running water, and reinstalled. Ensure the machine is in an ON-STATE when removing and reinserting the grounds tray for proper recognition.

4.3 Penyahkelasan

The machine features an automatic descaling function. When the descaling symbol illuminates, it indicates that descaling is required. Use an espresso machine-specific descaler (vinegar is not recommended). Follow the instructions provided with your descaling solution. Regular descaling prevents mineral buildup and ensures consistent coffee quality.

5. Penyelesaian masalah

• Water runs out during brewing: The water reservoir is small and requires frequent refilling. If water runs out mid-brew, the machine will stop. Refill the tank and it will resume. Consider moving the machine forward from under cabinets to easily remove and refill the tank.
• Refill coffee beans message when hopper is full: This may occur if beans are backed up or stuck. Gently poke around the beans in the hopper to dislodge them.
• Accidental button presses: The LED touch panel is highly sensitive. It is recommended to turn off the machine when refilling the bean hopper or performing other maintenance to avoid accidental activation.
• No temperature adjustment: This model does not feature adjustable brew temperature. The machine is designed to brew at an optimal temperature for proper extraction.
• Tall mugs/tumblers do not fit: The dispenser height is adjustable. For very tall tumblers (e.g., Yeti), you may need to remove the drip tray or tilt the tumbler to fit.
