1. Pengenalan

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your TFA Dostmann Clear 35.1168.02 Wireless Weather Station. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure correct operation and to prevent damage.

The weather station monitors indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and provides a weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure changes.

4.1 Base Station Display Elements

The display shows: atmospheric pressure (hPa), weather forecast icons (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy), outdoor channel indicator (CH 1 OUT), outdoor temperature (°C/°F) and humidity (%), and indoor temperature (°C/°F) and humidity (%).

• Tekanan atmosfera: Displayed in hPa, with trend arrows.
• Ikon Ramalan Cuaca: 4 symbols (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy) based on pressure changes.
• Suhu & Kelembapan Luaran: From the wireless sensor.
• Suhu & Kelembapan Dalaman: Measured by the base station.
• Petunjuk Saluran: Shows which outdoor sensor channel is currently displayed (up to 3 sensors supported).

4.2 Base Station Control Buttons (Rear)

The rear panel features four control buttons: DOWN, UP, CHANNEL, and SET. These buttons are used for navigating settings, adjusting values, and switching between outdoor sensor channels.

• TURUN: Decreases values, navigates menus.
• KE ATAS: Increases values, navigates menus.
• SALURAN: Switches between outdoor sensor channels (if multiple sensors are paired).
• SET: Enters settings mode, confirms selections.

5. Persediaan

5.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Penderia Luaran: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Stesen Pangkalan: Open the battery compartment on the back of the base station. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
3. The base station will emit a short beep and all LCD segments will light up briefly. It will then display indoor temperature and humidity. The outdoor sensor data will appear shortly after.

5.2 Penderia Berpasangan

The base station will automatically attempt to connect to the outdoor sensor upon battery insertion. Ensure the sensor is within range (max. 100m in open air). If connection is not established, press the "CHANNEL" button on the base station to initiate a manual search.

The station supports up to three outdoor sensors. To add additional sensors, repeat the battery installation process for each new sensor. Use the "CHANNEL" button to cycle through and display data from different sensors.

5.3 Initial Settings (Atmospheric Pressure)

The atmospheric pressure needs to be set during initial setup for accurate weather forecasting. Consult a local weather service or online source for the current atmospheric pressure in your area.

1. Press and hold the "SET" button until the atmospheric pressure value flashes.
2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to adjust the value to your local atmospheric pressure.
3. Press "SET" again to confirm and exit the setting mode.

5.4 Penempatan

• Stesen Pangkalan: Place the base station indoors on a flat surface or mount it on a wall. Avoid placing it near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with high electromagnetic interference.
• Penderia Luaran: Position the outdoor sensor in a sheltered location, protected from direct rain and snow. Ensure good air circulation around the sensor. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent inaccurate temperature readings. The maximum range is 100m (open field).

6. Mengendalikan Stesen Cuaca

6.1 Displaying Temperature and Humidity

The base station continuously displays indoor temperature and humidity, along with the selected outdoor sensor's temperature and humidity.

6.2 Menukar Unit Suhu (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, briefly press the "UP" button outside of setting mode.

6.3 Ramalan Cuaca

The weather station provides a forecast for the next 12-24 hours using four weather icons: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, and rainy. These forecasts are based on changes in atmospheric pressure. The accuracy of the forecast improves after the initial atmospheric pressure setting has been stable for several hours.

6.4 Atmospheric Pressure Trend

Arrows next to the atmospheric pressure display indicate whether the pressure has risen, fallen, or remained stable over the last hour. This helps in understanding short-term weather trends.

7. Penyelenggaraan

7.1 Pembersihan

Bersihkan peranti dengan lembut, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no moisture enters the device.

7.2 Penggantian Bateri

Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit (base station or sensor) simultaneously to ensure optimal performance. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
