This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Timex Expedition Field Solar 43mm Watch. 1. Initial Solar Charging
Your Timex Expedition Field Solar watch is powered by light. Upon receiving the watch, it may be in a low power state due to prolonged storage. To activate and fully charge the watch, expose the dial to a strong light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours. The watch will begin functioning once sufficient charge is accumulated. An erratic second hand movement (e.g., jumping every two seconds) indicates a low power reserve and the need for further charging.
