2. Maklumat Keselamatan

Operating a laser engraver involves inherent risks. Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to the machine. This product is a Class 2 laser with 0.827mW output power.

• Perlindungan Mata: Never look directly into the laser beam. Always wear appropriate laser safety glasses.
• Pengudaraan: Ensure adequate ventilation to remove smoke and fumes produced during engraving and cutting. The built-in air assist helps, but external ventilation is crucial.

4. Persediaan

Follow these steps for initial setup of your laser engraver:

1. Membongkar dan Meletakkan: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Place it on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.
2. Sambungan Sistem Ekzos: Connect the provided exhaust fan and ducting to the machine's exhaust port to vent fumes outdoors.
3. Sistem Penyejukan Air: Connect the water pump to the laser tube's inlet and outlet ports. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with distilled water and the pump is submerged.
4. Sambungan Bantuan Udara: Connect the air assist hose to the laser head.
5. Kuasa dan Sambungan USB: Connect the power cable to a grounded outlet and the USB cable to your computer.
6. Pemasangan Perisian: Install the LightBurn software on your computer. Refer to the LightBurn documentation for detailed installation and configuration instructions.

5. Arahan Operasi

Operating your OMTech laser engraver involves preparing your design, setting parameters, and initiating the engraving/cutting process.

1. Memuatkan Bahan: Place your material onto the honeycomb or blade bed. Ensure it lies flat for consistent results. The two-way pass-through doors allow for larger items.
2. Manual Focus Workbed: Adjust the workbed height to achieve the perfect focal distance for your material. This is crucial for engraving quality.
3. Design Preparation (LightBurn): Import or create your design in LightBurn. Adjust size, position, and assign layers for engraving or cutting.
4. Menetapkan Parameter: For engraving, adjust speed (up to 23.6 ips / 600 mm/s) and power settings based on material type and desired depth. For cutting, set appropriate speed and power to achieve a clean cut.
5. Initiate Process: Send the job to the laser engraver from LightBurn. Monitor the process closely.
