2. Persediaan
2.1 Persediaan
Proper preparation is crucial for optimal results. Ensure the vehicle's paint is already corrected, which may include clay bar treatment and paint correction to remove imperfections. The application should be performed in a clean environment, out of direct sunlight, and on a cool-to-touch surface.
Before applying the coating, wipe the paint with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue from the paint correction process. This ensures a clean surface for the ceramic coating to bond effectively.

3. Arahan Operasi
3.1 Proses Permohonan
- Goncangkan Botol: Shake the bottle of Cerakote Professional Ceramic Paint Coating for approximately 30 seconds to ensure the contents are well mixed.
- Sediakan Aplikator: Thoroughly wet your microfiber application pad with the coating. The pad should feel slick and glide easily across the surface. You will need to rewet the pad for each new section you work on.
- Sapukan pada Permukaan: Apply the coating to the vehicle's paint using a cross-hatch application method. Work in manageable sections, typically 3-foot sections, to ensure even coverage.
- Periksa: After applying to a section, inspect it carefully to ensure there are no missed areas. Touch up as needed.
- Tetapkan Pemasa: Start a timer for 5 minutes. During this time, you may notice the coating start to 'sweat' or 'bead' on the surface; this is normal.
- Penggemar: After the 5 minutes are up, begin buffing the coated surface using new, high-quality microfiber cloths. A two-towel buffing method is recommended: use the first towel to level and remove any excess coating, and the second towel to buff to a deep shine.

3.2 Hydrophobic Properties
The applied coating creates an ultra-hydrophobic surface, causing water to bead and roll off, which significantly reduces the need for frequent washing and makes cleaning easier.

4.1 Post-Application Curing
Allow the coating to cure for a minimum of 2 hours at 65°F (18°C) or higher before returning the vehicle to the customer or exposing it to moisture. For optimal durability and performance, allow the coating to cure for a full 24 hours at 65°F (18°C) or higher before washing the vehicle.
4.2 Penjagaan Am
To maintain the longevity and performance of your Cerakote ceramic coating, regular washing with pH-neutral car wash soap is recommended. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could compromise the coating's integrity. The ultra-hydrophobic surface will make future cleaning significantly easier.
