1. Pengenalan

This 11kW, 5-meter cable is designed to provide efficient and reliable charging for your electric vehicle at home, public charging stations, or supermarkets. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your charging cable.

2. Maklumat Keselamatan

Always read and understand all safety instructions before using the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

The Depow Type 2 cable is designed for plug-and-play use. No complex installation is required.

4. Arahan Operasi

Follow these steps to safely charge your electric vehicle:

1. Sediakan untuk Pengecasan: Ensure your vehicle is parked safely and the charging port is accessible. Make sure the charging station is active and ready for use.
2. Connect to Charging Station: Take one end of the Depow Type 2 cable and firmly insert it into the Type 2 outlet of the charging station. Ensure it clicks into place securely.
3. Sambung ke Kenderaan: Take the other end of the cable and firmly insert it into your vehicle's Type 2 charging inlet. Ensure it clicks into place securely.
4. Mulakan Pengecasan: Follow the instructions on the charging station to start the charging process. This may involve swiping a card, using an app, or pressing a button. Your vehicle's dashboard or charging indicator will confirm that charging has begun.
5. Pengecasan Monitor: While charging, ensure the cable is not under tension or being driven over. The cable's durable TPU coating allows flexibility even in cold weather.
6. Putuskan Sambungan Selepas Mengecas: Once charging is complete, follow the charging station's instructions to stop the session. Disconnect the cable from your vehicle first, then from the charging station. Always handle the connectors by their grips.

5. Penyelenggaraan

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your charging cable.

• Pembersihan: Regularly wipe down the cable and connectors with the provided microfibre cloth or a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth, ensuring all parts are completely dry before storage or next use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storan: After each use, coil the cable neatly. Use the included cable ties to secure it. Store the cable in the provided waterproof carry bag to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Pemeriksaan: Periodically inspect the cable for any signs of wear, cracks, fraying, or damage to the insulation or connectors. Check the rubber caps for the plugs for integrity. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately and contact support.

6. Penyelesaian masalah

If you encounter issues with your Depow charging cable, try the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Cable Not Charging:
  • Ensure both ends of the cable are securely and fully inserted into the vehicle and charging station.
  • Check if the charging station is active and providing power.
  • Verify your vehicle's charging settings are correctly configured.
  • Ensure there are no error messages on the charging station or vehicle dashboard.
• Pengecasan perlahan:
  • The actual charging speed (kW) is determined by the lowest rated component among the charging station, the charging cable, and your vehicle's on-board charger.
  • Ensure the charging station is delivering its maximum power output.
  • Check your vehicle's specifications for its maximum AC charging rate.
• Kabel Terlalu Panas:
  • Immediately disconnect the cable if it feels excessively hot.
  • Ensure the cable is fully uncoiled during charging to allow for proper heat dissipation.
  • Verify that the charging station and vehicle are operating within their specified temperature ranges.
