Welding operations involve inherent risks. It is crucial to follow all safety guidelines to prevent injury or damage to equipment. Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing, and safety shoes.

• Kejutan elektrik: Can kill. Do not touch live electrical parts. Insulate yourself from work and ground.

3. Persediaan

3.3 Wire Feeder Setup (MIG/MAG)

The machine features an integrated 2-roller wire feeder.

• Open the side panel of the machine to access the wire spool compartment.
• Mount the appropriate welding wire spool onto the spindle. Ensure the wire unwinds smoothly.
• Thread the wire through the guide tube and into the wire feeder rollers.
• Adjust the tension of the wire feeder rollers according to the wire diameter and type.
• Close the side panel securely.

3.4 Gas Connection (MIG/MAG)

For MIG/MAG welding, a shielding gas cylinder is required.

• Connect the gas hose from the machine to the pressure regulator on the gas cylinder.

• Burn-back: Controls the length of wire extending from the torch nozzle after welding stops.
• Crater Fill: Gradually reduces current at the end of a weld to fill the crater and prevent cracking.
• Pre/Post Gas Flow: Controls the gas flow before and after welding to protect the weld puddle.

4.5 MMA (Stick) Welding Features
