The Sharp QT-CD290 boombox is designed for portable use and operates solely on batteries. It does not include an AC power adapter and cannot be powered directly from a wall outlet.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside or rear of the unit.

5.1 Kawalan Am

Familiarize yourself with the main control buttons:

• POWER/FUNC: Press to turn the unit ON/OFF. Press repeatedly to cycle through functions (CD/MP3, TAPE, AM, FM, AUX).
• VOL+ / VOL-: Melaraskan tahap kelantangan.
• BERHENTI: Stops playback for CD/MP3 or Cassette.
• MAIN/JEDA: Starts or pauses CD/MP3 playback.
• SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ▶▶): Skips tracks on CD/MP3. Fast forwards/rewinds on cassette.
• TUNE ▲ / ▼: Tunes radio frequency up or down.
• IMBAS: Automatically scans for radio stations.
• MEM: Stores or recalls radio presets.
• MOD P: Programs CD/MP3 playback order.
• REKOD: Initiates cassette recording (from CD, Radio, or AUX).

5.2 Main Semula CD/MP3

1. Tekan ke KUASA/FUNGSI button repeatedly until 'CD' or 'MP3' appears on the display.
2. Buka penutup petak CD pemuatan atas.
3. Letakkan CD atau CD MP3 pada gelendong dengan bahagian label menghadap ke atas.
4. Tutup penutup petak CD dengan kemas.
5. Tekan ke MAIN/JEDA butang untuk memulakan main balik.

4. Tutup pintu dek kaset.
5. Tekan ke BERMAIN button on the cassette controls to start playback.
6. guna SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀ / ▶▶) for fast forward or rewind.
7. Tekan BERHENTI untuk menamatkan main balik.

Rakaman:

1. Insert a blank or recordable cassette tape into the cassette deck.
2. Select the desired source (CD, AM/FM Radio, or AUX) using the KUASA/FUNGSI butang.
3. Start playback on the source (e.g., play a CD, tune to a radio station).
4. Tekan ke REKOD button on the cassette controls. The PLAY button will also engage.

5.4 AM/FM Operasi Radio
