Ensure the distance between the two parts does not exceed 0.4 inches when the door/window is closed. - Plug in the Chime Receiver: Insert the chime receiver into any standard electrical socket within 600 feet of the door sensor. The receiver will light up and emit a sound when the sensor is triggered.

The door sensor uses a 23A 12V Alkaline Battery, designed for ultra-low power consumption, allowing the battery to last up to 7200 times (approximately 20 months of average use).
