1. Arahan Keselamatan

3. Persediaan

3.1 Pengecasan dan Pemasangan Bateri

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery pack. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Once charged, slide the battery pack into the base of the reciprocating saw until it clicks securely into place.

3.2 Pemasangan Bilah

1. Ensure the battery is removed from the tool before installing or changing blades.
2. Locate the blade holder on the front of the saw. Depending on the model, this may involve twisting a collar or lifting a lever.
3. Insert the shank of the saw blade fully into the blade holder. Ensure the blade teeth are facing the correct direction for cutting.
4. Release the blade holder mechanism to secure the blade. Gently pull on the blade to confirm it is firmly locked in place.

4. Operasi

4.1 Bermula dan Berhenti

• To start the saw, press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch. The saw will begin to operate.
• Untuk menghentikan gergaji, lepaskan suis pencetus.
• The speed of the blade can often be controlled by the pressure applied to the trigger switch.

4.2 Teknik Memotong

Sentiasa pastikan bahan kerja berada dalam keadaan selamatamped or held to prevent movement during cutting. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Pemotongan Umum: Place the shoe of the saw firmly against the workpiece. Start the saw and allow it to reach full speed before engaging the blade with the material. Apply steady, even pressure.
• Memotong Kayu: Use a wood-specific blade. For thicker wood, consider making pilot holes or plunge cuts if necessary. The saw can cut up to 180 mm in wood.
• Memotong Plastik: Use a fine-tooth blade suitable for plastic. Lower speeds may be beneficial to prevent melting the material.
• Memotong Logam: Use a metal-specific blade (e.g., high-speed steel). Apply cutting fluid if recommended for the specific metal. The saw can cut up to 12 mm in steel.

5. Penyelenggaraan

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your tool. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.

5.1 Pembersihan

• After each use, clean the tool housing with a soft, damp kain. Jangan gunakan bahan kimia yang keras atau pembersih yang kasar.
• Remove any sawdust, chips, or debris from the ventilation openings to prevent overheating. Use compressed air if available.

5.2 Penggantian Bilah

Gantikan bilah apabila ia menjadi kusam atau rosak. Rujuk Bahagian 3.2 untuk arahan pemasangan bilah.

5.3 Penjagaan Bateri

• Simpan bateri di tempat yang sejuk dan kering jauh dari cahaya matahari langsung dan suhu yang melampau.
• Jangan simpan bateri dalam keadaan dinyahcas untuk tempoh yang lama. Cas semula bateri secara berkala jika tidak digunakan.
• Protect battery contacts from short-circuiting.
