1. Pengenalan

The Brita UltraMax 27-Cup Water Dispenser is designed to provide healthier, great-tasting filtered water. This BPA-free dispenser reduces the taste and odor of chlorine, and also reduces impurities such as mercury, copper, and cadmium from tap water. It features a large capacity, an easy-locking lid, and a precision-pour spigot, making it suitable for refrigerator storage and daily use.

2. Arahan Persediaan

1. Unpack and Wash Components:

   Remove all components from the packaging. Wash the dispenser base, lid, and reservoir with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

   Submerge the new Brita Standard filter in cold water for 15 seconds. This helps remove loose carbon particles and prepares the filter for use.

   Insert the prepared filter into the reservoir. Press down firmly to ensure a tight seal. The filter should sit securely in the designated opening.

4. Fill the Dispenser:

   Place the reservoir into the dispenser base. Fill the reservoir with cold tap water. The water will slowly filter into the main dispenser compartment.

5. Siram Awal:

   For the first two fillings, dispense and discard the filtered water. This flushes out any remaining carbon dust and primes the filter for optimal performance.

   Position a glass or container under the spigot. Push the spigot lever down to dispense filtered water. Release the lever to stop the flow.

4.1 Penggantian Penapis

Regular filter replacement is crucial for optimal performance and water quality.

• Penapis Standard: Replace every 40 gallons or approximately every two months.
• Elite Filter (if used): Replace every 120 gallons or approximately every six months.

The dispenser features a sticker filter indicator to help track when a replacement is due. Mark the date of filter installation on the sticker.

Cara Menggantikan Penapis:

1. Remove the reservoir from the dispenser base.
2. Carefully remove the old filter by pulling it upwards.
3. Prepare the new filter as described in the Setup section (submerge in cold water for 15 seconds).
4. Insert the new filter into the reservoir, pressing down firmly to ensure a secure fit.
5. Reassemble the dispenser and perform an initial flush by discarding the first two fillings of filtered water.
6. Update the filter indicator sticker with the new installation date.

4.2 Cleaning the Dispenser

Clean the dispenser regularly to prevent buildup and maintain hygiene.

• Disassemble the dispenser (lid, reservoir, base, spigot).
• Wash all parts (except the filter) with mild dish soap and warm water. A soft brush can be used for hard-to-reach areas.

  If the filtered water does not taste fresh or has an unusual odor, the filter may need replacement. Ensure the filter was properly prepared and installed. Always perform the initial flush after installing a new filter.
