The GODIAG GT102 Power Circuit Probe Tester is a versatile diagnostic tool designed for automotive electrical systems ranging from 6V to 40V DC. It combines multiple functions including voltmeter, ground test, component activation, short circuit locating, relay testing, and fuel injector testing and cleaning.

Voltmeter Function

Once powered, the GT102 displays the voltage at the probe tip. Touch the probe to any DC circuit point to read its voltage. A red LED indicates positive voltage, and a green LED indicates negative voltage or ground.

To test for a good ground connection, touch the probe to the component or circuit point. If the green LED illuminates and the display shows 0.0V, it indicates a good ground.

To activate a component, connect the tester to the vehicle battery. Use the power switch on the tester to supply positive or negative voltage to the probe tip. The GT102 can help locate short circuits and test for continuity. By tracing the circuit with the probe, a sudden drop in voltage or a change in LED indication can pinpoint the location of a short. The device's overload protection will activate if a direct short to ground or power is detected, preventing damage. For continuity, if one end of a wire shows current and the other does not, there is a break in the circuit.

Connect the relay test adapter and appropriate leads to the relay. The GT102 can cycle the relay on and off, allowing you to observe its operation and verify continuity through its contacts. LEDs on the adapter will indicate the status of the relay contacts.

Attach the fuel injector test lead and cleaning connector to the injector. For cleaning, connect the cleaning connector to a suitable injector cleaning solution can. Use the dedicated function button on the GT102 to pulse the injector, allowing the cleaning solution to flow through and clear blockages. For testing, the device can activate the injector to check its spray pattern and operation.
