1. Persediaan

Carefully unpack your PINEWORLD Biometric Gun Safe. Verify that all components are present:

Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact PINEWORLD customer support.

1.2 Pemasangan Bateri

The safe requires 4 LR6 batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside or inside the door. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. The safe will provide a voice prompt upon successful installation.

1.3 Pilihan Pemasangan

Your PINEWORLD safe offers versatile placement options:

1.4 APP Connection (2.4Ghz WiFi only)

To utilize the smart features, download the PINEWORLD app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your safe to your 2.4Ghz WiFi network. The app allows for remote unlocking, real-time battery monitoring, user management (add/delete members), and viewing operation records and anti-theft alarms.

2. Beroperasi

2.1 Quick Access Methods

The PINEWORLD safe offers four quick access methods:

• Cap jari: The top semiconductor fingerprint technology allows access within 0.5 seconds. The system can store up to 50 unique fingerprints with a failure rate of less than 0.9%.
• Kod laluan: Program a 6-8 digit passcode. The safe supports up to 50 different passcode groups. The keypad is backlit for low-light conditions.
• Kunci Mekanikal: Two mechanical keys are provided for emergency or backup access.

2.2 Voice Prompt and Mute Mode

The safe features a full voice prompt system to guide you through operations and provide alerts. A mute mode is available for discreet operation, ideal for bedside use.

2.3 Emergency Charging Port

In case of battery depletion, an emergency TYPE-C charging port is available. Connect a USB-A to TYPE-C cable (not included) to an external power source to temporarily power the safe. Avoid long-term charging through this port as it may affect the safe's battery life.

2.4 Alarm Features

The PINEWORLD safe is equipped with multiple alarm systems:

• Penggera Anti Kecurian: Activated if someone attempts to access the safe violently (prying or smashing).
• Penggera Bateri Rendah: When battery power drops below 4.8V, the safe will prompt "Low battery, please replace it."
• Penggera Percubaan dan Ralat: The system will lock for 3 minutes after 5 consecutive incorrect passcode or fingerprint attempts. This feature helps prevent unauthorized access and keeps children away from firearms.
• Coercion Alarm: If a specific passcode or fingerprint designated for coercion is used, a notification will be sent to a pre-set recipient via the APP.

3. Penyelenggaraan

3.1 Penggantian Bateri

When the low battery alarm sounds, replace all 4 LR6 batteries promptly to ensure continuous functionality. Refer to section 1.2 for battery installation instructions.

3.2 Pembersihan

Bersihkan bahagian luar peti besi dengan lembut, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components. Ensure the fingerprint sensor and keypad are kept clean for optimal performance.

3.3 Gas Strut Longevity

The safe's gas strut is designed for durability, supporting up to 30,000 opening and closing cycles. No specific maintenance is required for the gas strut, but avoid forcing the lid open or closed.

4.1 Fingerprint Recognition Issues

• Ensure proper finger placement covering the entire sensor.

4.2 Passcode Issues

• Verify that you are entering the correct 6-8 digit passcode.
• If multiple incorrect attempts have been made, the safe may be in a 3-minute lockout period due to the Trial and Error Alarm. Wait for the lockout period to expire.

4.3 APP Connectivity Problems

• Confirm your smartphone is connected to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network. The safe does not support 5Ghz WiFi.
• Check the APP settings to ensure the safe is properly paired.
• Restart the APP and/or the safe.
• Ensure the safe is within range of your WiFi router.

4.4 Amaran Bateri Rendah

• When the "Low battery" voice prompt is heard, replace all 4 LR6 batteries immediately.
• If the batteries are completely dead, use the emergency mechanical keys or the TYPE-C emergency charging port to access the safe.

4.5 Door Not Opening/Closing Smoothly

• Check for any obstructions preventing the door from moving freely.
• Ensure the safe is placed on a level surface.
