1. Pengenalan

The Tilta Advanced Ring Grip is a versatile and lightweight carbon fiber system designed to enhance the stability and control of your DJI RS series gimbal. It provides dual-handed operation, integrated power solutions, and comprehensive control over gimbal movements and camera functions, including wireless focus. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

3. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

3.1. Assembling the Ring Grip

Connect Ring Grip Part I (TGA-ARG-UP) and Ring Grip Part II (TGA-ARG-DOWN) to form the complete ring structure. Ensure all connections are secure.

3.2. Attaching the Gimbal

Mount your DJI RS2, RS3 Pro, RS4, RS4 Pro, or RS5 gimbal securely within the center of the ring grip. Ensure the gimbal is balanced according to its manufacturer's instructions.

3.3. Attaching Control Handles

Attach the RS 2 Remote Control Handle (TGA-ARG-RCH1) to one side of the ring grip and the Dual Channel Wireless Lens Control Handle (TGA-ARG-WCH1) to the opposite side. These handles provide ergonomic grip and access to various controls.

3.4. Mounting Power Supply Modules and Accessories

The ring grip features electronic contact points on the top and bottom for mounting power supply modules (optional, not included) such as V-mount or Gold-mount battery plates. These modules provide power to the gimbal and other accessories like monitors via D-Tap and USB ports.

3.5. Pairing the Control Handle

To pair the control handle with your gimbal, follow these steps:

1. Hold down the 'M' key on the control handle until its indicator light turns orange.
2. While still holding 'M', press and hold the record key until the indicator light starts searching (blinking).

4. Double-tap the power button on the Wireless Control Receiver Module (TGA-WCR) attached to your gimbal.
5. Once connected, the indicator light on the control handle will return to a steady state, indicating successful pairing.

4. Operating the Advanced Ring Grip

The Advanced Ring Grip offers comprehensive control and flexibility for various shooting scenarios.

4.1. Gimbal and Camera Control

• The RS 2 Remote Control Handle allows for precise gimbal movements (tilt and pan) via its joystick. It also features an 'M' key to adjust gimbal modes and a record button for run/stop functionality on compatible cameras.
• The Dual Channel Wireless Lens Control Handle is designed for wireless focus, iris, and zoom control when paired with Tilta Nucleus series motors or DJI focus motors. It features two focus wheels: one for your finger and one for your thumb, enabling a single operator to manage multiple lens functions simultaneously.

4.2. Low Mode Operation

The integrated battery handle mount allows the ring grip to function as a top handle, facilitating quick transitions to low-angle shots. The kickstands at the bottom provide a stable base when setting the system down.

4.3. Menguasakan Sistem

The ring grip is designed to power the gimbal using the DJI RS series battery handle. Additionally, optional V-mount or Gold-mount battery plates can be attached to provide extended power for the gimbal and other mounted accessories.

5. Penyelenggaraan

• Pembersihan: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the carbon fiber and metal surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storan: Store the ring grip in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Pemeriksaan: Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure.

• Control Handle Not Responding: Ensure the control handle is properly paired with the Wireless Control Receiver Module. Check battery levels of both the handle and the gimbal.
• Isu Kuasa: Verify that the gimbal battery is fully charged and correctly inserted into the battery handle mount. If using external power, ensure the battery plate and connections are secure.
• Unstable Gimbal: Re-balance the gimbal according to its manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all components of the ring grip are securely fastened.
