This device helps manage power consumption by controlling the operating periods of connected equipment. It features a 24-hour dial with 15-minute segments for precise scheduling.

4. Arahan Persediaan

1. Plug in the Timer: Insert the CHACON 99050 Mechanical Timer into a standard 230V wall socket.
2. Tetapkan Masa Semasa: Rotate the 24-hour dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow indicator on the timer's body. Ensure AM/PM is correctly observed (e.g., 1 PM is 13 on the dial).

5. Arahan Operasi

1. Tempoh Program HIDUP/MATI:

   The dial is divided into 15-minute segments. To set a period when the appliance should be ON, push down the corresponding segments around the dial. To set a period when the appliance should be OFF, leave the segments in the up position. You can set up to 48 ON/OFF cycles per day.

   Example: To turn an appliance ON from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, push down the segments from 7 to 8 on the dial.
2. Sambungkan Perkakas: Plug the electrical appliance you wish to control into the power socket on the front of the timer. Ensure the appliance's own power switch is set to the ON position.
3. Pembatalan Manual:

   The timer includes a lateral switch. This switch allows you to manually override the programmed settings:

   • Tetapkan kepada "ON": The appliance will remain continuously ON, regardless of the dial settings.
   • Tetapkan kepada "PEMASA": The appliance will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF cycles.

7. Penyelesaian masalah

• Appliance does not turn ON/OFF at programmed times:
  • Check if the timer is correctly plugged into the wall socket.
  • Verify that the current time is accurately set on the dial.
  • Ensure the correct segments are pushed down for the desired ON periods.
  • Confirm the manual override switch is set to "TIMER".
  • Check if the connected appliance's power switch is in the ON position.
  • Ensure the appliance is functioning correctly when plugged directly into a wall socket.
• Timer is not rotating:
  • Ensure the timer is plugged into a live wall socket.
  • The timer is mechanical and relies on the mains power to operate its internal clock. If the power is interrupted, the time setting may become inaccurate.
