4. Measuring for Installation

Accurate measurement is critical for proper fit and function. Lumino blinds are precision-cut to be 0.5 inches narrower than the ordered width for an ideal inside mount. Please follow these guidelines:

4.1. Inside Mount

For blinds mounted inside the window frame:

1. Lebar: Measure the width of the window frame at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement.

3. Order a blind with the final measurements from steps 1 and 2. The blind will arrive 0.5 inches narrower than your ordered width.

4.2. Outside Mount

For blinds mounted outside the window frame:

Ensure you have at least 1.5 inches on the left and right of the window opening (3 inches total) to minimize light gaps. Record the largest measurement, then add 0.5 inches. This will account for the 0.5 inch deduction (note: this deduction applies to the width you order, not the length).
