5. Change your computer's network adapter settings to be on the same subnet as the printer. For example, if the printer's IP is 10.10.100.254, set your computer's IP to 10.10.100.200.

11. Run the printer driver installation again. When prompted for connection type, select 'other' or 'network printer'. Add the printer as a 'Standard TCP/IP Port' using the static IP address you assigned. If prompted, select 'Generic Network Card' and use 'RAW, Port 9100'.
