It features an extendable flat screen that doubles the suction area when pulled out. 3. Persediaan dan Pemasangan
The Klarstein Vinea extractor hood is designed for under-cabinet mounting. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety.
3.1 Pemasangan
The hood should be mounted at a safe distance above the cooking surface, typically between 65-75 cm (25.6-29.5 inches) for electric cooktops and 75-85 cm (29.5-33.5 inches) for gas cooktops. Refer to the technical drawing for precise dimensions and mounting points.

3.2 Pilihan Pengudaraan
- Mod Udara Ekzos: Connect the hood to an external ducting system (not supplied) to vent cooking fumes outside. Ensure the ducting is of appropriate diameter (150mm recommended) and as short and straight as possible for best performance.
- Mod Edaran Semula: For recirculation, an activated carbon filter (sold separately) must be installed. This filter cleans the air before returning it to the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.
3.3 Sambungan Elektrik

4. Arahan Operasi

4.1 Panel Kawalan

4.2 Operasi Asas
- Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa: Press the power symbol button (U) to turn the hood on or off.
- Pelarasan Kelajuan Kipas: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through the three available fan speeds. Select a higher speed for more intense cooking fumes.
- Kawalan Pencahayaan: Press the light symbol button (*) to turn the halogen lights on or off.
- Extendable Screen: Gently pull the front panel outwards to extend the flat screen and increase the extraction area. Push it back in to retract.
5. Penyelenggaraan dan Pembersihan

5.1 Membersihkan Penapis Grease
The aluminum grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to prevent grease buildup and maintain suction efficiency. They are dishwasher safe.
- To remove: Locate the release clips on each filter, press them, and pull the filter downwards.
- Clean: Wash in a dishwasher or by hand using hot water and a mild detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation.
- To reinstall: Insert the filter into its slot and push until the clips engage securely.

5.2 Menggantikan Penapis Karbon Teraktif (Mod Edaran Semula)
If operating in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filters (not included) need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the activated carbon filters for replacement procedures.
5.3 Membersihkan Permukaan Luar
Clean the exterior surfaces of the hood with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, as these can damage the finish.
