1. Pengenalan
The RCF F12 XR is a 12-channel analog mixer console designed for professional audio applications. It features high-quality preamplifiers, a comprehensive DSP effects section, and a built-in USB audio interface for recording and playback. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your F12 XR mixer.

3. Panduan Persediaan
3.1 Membongkar
Keluarkan pengadun dari pembungkusannya dengan berhati-hati. Periksa unit tersebut untuk sebarang tanda kerosakan yang mungkin berlaku semasa transit. Simpan pembungkusan asal untuk pengangkutan atau penyimpanan pada masa hadapan.
3.2 Sambungan Kuasa
Connect the provided power cord to the AC input on the rear panel of the mixer (refer to Figure 2.1). Plug the other end into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. The F12 XR operates on a Corded Electric power source, compatible with 100-240V AC.
3.3 Sambungan Audio
The F12 XR offers various input and output options:
- Input Mikrofon (XLR): Connect microphones to the XLR inputs (channels 1-6). Ensure phantom power (+48V) is enabled only when using condenser microphones that require it.
- Input Talian (1/4" TRS/TS): Connect line-level sources such as keyboards, guitars (with DI box), or other audio devices to the 1/4" inputs.
- Stereo Inputs (1/4" TRS): Channels 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12 can accept stereo line-level signals.
- Output Utama (XLR): Connect these to your main PA system or studio monitors.
- Control Room Outputs (1/4" TRS): Connect to control room monitors.

3.4 Sambungan USB
Connect a USB cable from the USB port on the rear panel of the mixer to your computer. The F12 XR functions as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, allowing you to record the main mix and play back audio from your computer.
4. Arahan Operasi

The F12 XR features a logical layout of controls for intuitive operation. Each channel strip provides dedicated controls for input gain, equalization, auxiliary sends, pan, mute, and level fader. The master section includes controls for the main mix, effects, and monitoring.
4.2 Kawalan Jalur Saluran

4.3 Main Mix and Output Controls
- MAIN MIX FADER: Controls the overall output level of the stereo main mix.

- METER VU: Provide visual indication of the main output level.
4.4 Bahagian Kesan DSP
The F12 XR includes a PRO DSP FX section with 16 professional effects presets. Use the dedicated controls to select and adjust the desired effect. The FX RETURN fader controls the overall level of the effects in the main mix.
4.5 Antara Muka Audio USB
The integrated USB audio interface allows for 2-channel recording of the main mix to a computer and 2-channel playback from a computer. Ensure your computer's operating system recognizes the mixer as an audio device. No special drivers are typically required for basic functionality.
5. Penyelenggaraan
5.1 Pembersihan
To clean the mixer, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the unit.
5.2 Penyimpanan
When not in use for extended periods, store the mixer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for protection.
6. Penyelesaian masalah
If you encounter issues with your F12 XR mixer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Tiada Kuasa: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the mixer and a working electrical outlet. Check the power switch position and the fuse on the rear panel.
- Tiada Keluaran Bunyi: Verify that the main mix fader is up, and individual channel faders are at appropriate levels. Check all cable connections to speakers/monitors. Ensure the MUTE buttons are not engaged on active channels.
- Bunyi Herot: Reduce the GAIN on input channels if the PEAK LED is frequently illuminating. Lower the main mix fader if the output meters are consistently in the red. Check for impedance mismatches with connected equipment.
- USB Audio Not Working: Confirm the USB cable is properly connected. Check your computer's sound settings to ensure the F12 XR is selected as the input/output device. Restart your computer and the mixer.
- Effects Not Heard: Ensure the FX send knob on the desired channel is turned up, and the FX RETURN fader in the master section is at an audible level.
