3.2 Setting DIP Switches
Before installing the receiver, you must set the DIP switches on both the remote control and the receiver unit to the same combination. This ensures proper communication between the two devices and prevents interference from other remote-controlled devices in your home.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Open it to access the DIP switches.
- Locate the DIP switches on the receiver unit. These are typically small switches that can be set to an 'ON' or 'OFF' position.
- Choose any combination of 'ON' and 'OFF' settings for the DIP switches. Ensure the exact same combination is set on both the remote control and the receiver unit.
- Close the battery compartment on the remote control.
