4. Arahan Persediaan

Follow these steps to set up your Retevis RT84 USB Programming Cable:

1. Install Programming Software: Before connecting the cable, ensure you have the correct programming software for your Retevis RT84 or RT72 radio installed on your Windows computer. This software is typically provided by Retevis or can be downloaded from their official webtapak.
2. Connect USB to Computer: Plug the USB-A end of the programming cable into an available USB port on your computer.

3. Pemasangan Pemandu: Your Windows operating system should automatically detect the new hardware and attempt to install the necessary drivers. 5. Arahan Operasi

After successfully setting up the cable and installing the drivers, you can proceed with programming your radio:

1. Launch Programming Software: Open the Retevis programming software on your computer.
2. Pilih Port COM: Within the software, navigate to the communication settings or port selection. Choose the correct COM port that corresponds to your USB programming cable. This is crucial for the software to communicate with the radio. You can usually find the assigned COM port in your computer's Device Manager under "Ports (COM & LPT)".
3. Read Data from Radio: Use the software's "Read from Radio" or "Download" function to retrieve the current configuration from your RT84 or RT72 radio. This step is recommended before making any changes, allowing you to save a backup of your radio's original settings.
