This filter provides multi-stage filtration to maintain optimal water quality and clarity in both freshwater and marine environments. Its design emphasizes ease of maintenance and quiet operation.

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your OASE BioMaster 250 filter. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

4. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present and undamaged. The package includes the aquarium filter with filter media, tubing, intake and outflow tubes, diffuser, spray bar, fittings, heater adapter, and power cable.

4.1 Perhimpunan Komponen

1. Sediakan Media Penapis: Ensure all filter media (pre-filter foams, biological media, chemical media) are correctly placed in their respective baskets within the filter canister. Refer to the internal diagrams for correct layering.
2. Sambungkan Hos: Attach the intake and outflow hoses to the filter head unit. Secure them with the provided fittings.
3. Install Intake and Outflow Tubes: Place the intake tube (with strainer) and outflow tube (with diffuser or spray bar) inside the aquarium. Secure them to the aquarium rim using suction cups or clips.
4. Letakkan Penapis: Place the filter canister on a stable surface below the aquarium water level. This is crucial for proper water flow and self-priming.

4.2 Menyuburkan Penapis

The BioMaster 250 features a self-priming function for easy startup:

2. Open the inlet and outlet valves on the filter head.
3. Press the priming button (usually located on top of the filter head) repeatedly until water begins to flow into the filter and fill the canister. This may take several presses.
4. Once water fills the canister and flows through the outflow tube, connect the power cable to an electrical outlet. The filter pump will start, and water circulation will begin.

5. Arahan Operasi

Once installed and primed, the OASE BioMaster 250 operates continuously to filter your aquarium water.

• Pelarasan Aliran: The inlet and outlet adapters feature flow control levers. These can be adjusted to regulate the water flow rate according to your aquarium's needs.
• Diffuser/Spray Bar: The included diffuser or spray bar can be used to create uniform surface movement and enhance dissolved oxygen levels in the aquarium.
• Integrasi Pemanas (Pilihan): If you have an OASE HeatUp adjustable heater, it can be integrated into the filter canister for a cleaner aquarium aesthetic. Follow the heater's specific instructions for installation into the BioMaster.

6. Penyelenggaraan

Regular maintenance is essential for the optimal performance and longevity of your OASE BioMaster 250 filter.

6.1 Pembersihan Modul Pra-Penapis EasyClean

The EasyClean pre-filter module allows for quick cleaning without opening the main filter canister:

1. Putuskan Kuasa: Always unplug the filter from the power outlet before any maintenance.
2. Remove Pre-Filter Module: Unlock and carefully pull out the pre-filter module from the top of the filter head.
3. Rinse Foams: Remove the pre-filter foams and rinse them thoroughly under running aquarium water (or dechlorinated tap water) until clean. Avoid using untreated tap water as it can harm beneficial bacteria.
4. Pasang semula: Place the cleaned foams back into the module and reinsert the module into the filter head, ensuring it locks securely.
5. Sambung semula Kuasa: Plug the filter back into the power outlet.

This pre-filter should be cleaned every 1-2 weeks, depending on aquarium bioload and debris accumulation.

6.2 Full Filter Cleaning (Main Canister)

The main filter canister, including biological and chemical media, requires less frequent cleaning, typically every 3-6 months or as needed based on flow reduction.

1. Putuskan Kuasa: Cabut plag penapis.
2. Engage Aquastop: Close the inlet and outlet valves on the filter head. The aquastop mechanism allows you to disconnect the hose assembly without water leakage, keeping the tubes in the aquarium.
3. Tanggalkan Kepala Penapis: Release the locking clips and carefully lift the filter head from the canister.
4. Bakul Media Bersih: Remove the media baskets. Rinse mechanical filter foams and biological media in old aquarium water to preserve beneficial bacteria. Replace chemical media (e.g., activated carbon) as recommended by the manufacturer, typically monthly.
5. Clean Canister and Impeller: Clean the inside of the canister and inspect the impeller for debris.
6. Pasang semula: Reassemble the media baskets, ensuring they are correctly stacked. Secure the filter head onto the canister, ensuring all clips are locked.
7. Reconnect Hoses and Prime: Reconnect the hose assembly, open the valves, and prime the filter as described in Section 4.2.
8. Sambung semula Kuasa: Plug the filter back in.
