5.1. Langkah Pra-Pemasangan

1. Matikan Kuasa: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the power to the switch box. Turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage penguji.

For single pole applications where one switch controls the light:

• Cap off the Biru wire from the sensor switch with a wire nut; it is not used in single pole applications.

Pendawaian 3-Hala

For 3-way applications where two switches control the same light, only one MEW-OVS100W sensor switch can be used. The other switch must be a standard 3-way switch.

• At the Sensor Switch Location:
  • Sambungkan Hitam wire from the sensor switch to the LINE (Panas) wire from the wall box.
  • Sambungkan merah wire from the sensor switch to the MUAT wire going to the light fixture.

  • Sambungkan baki PERJALANAN wire to one of the traveler terminals on the standard 3-way switch.
  • Connect the common wire (usually black or marked) to the common terminal on the standard 3-way switch.
  • Connect the ground wire to the ground terminal.

5.3. Pemasangan

1. Carefully push all wires into the wall box.
2. Secure the sensor switch to the wall box using the provided screws.
3. Attach the wall plate. Ensure the wall plate is properly seated for optimal sensor performance.

6. Mod Operasi

The Maxxima MEW-OVS100W offers two primary operating modes: Occupancy and Vacancy. These modes determine how the light turns on and off.

6.1. Occupancy Mode (Auto ON / Auto OFF)

In Occupancy Mode, the light will automatically turn ON when motion is detected in the room. The light will remain ON as long as motion is continuously detected. After no motion is detected for the set time delay, the light will automatically turn OFF.

6.2. Vacancy Mode (Manual ON / Auto OFF)

In Vacancy Mode, the light must be manually turned ON by pressing the switch button. Once the light is ON, it will remain ON as long as motion is continuously detected. After no motion is detected for the set time delay, the light will automatically turn OFF.

6.3. Bertukar Antara Mod

The mode selection switch (OCC/VAC) is located under the faceplate. To change the mode:

1. Carefully remove the wall plate.
2. Locate the small switch labeled 'OCC' and 'VAC'.
3. Slide the switch to your desired mode.
4. Reattach the wall plate.

The Maxxima MEW-OVS100W allows for customization of its performance through three adjustable settings: Time Delay, Sensitivity, and Light Level Sensing. These adjustments are made using small dials located under the faceplate.

To access these settings, carefully remove the wall plate. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to turn the adjustment dials.

7.1. Time Delay (TIME)

This setting determines how long the light remains ON after the last detected motion. The time delay can be adjusted from approximately 1 minute to 30 minutes. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the delay, and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

7.2. Sensitivity (SENSE)

This setting controls the sensor's ability to detect motion. Higher sensitivity means the sensor will detect smaller movements or movements at a greater distance. Lower sensitivity reduces the detection range and responsiveness. Adjust as needed for your environment.

7.3. Light Level Sensing (LIGHT)

This setting allows the sensor to prevent lights from turning on if there is already sufficient ambient light. When set to a higher level, the lights will only turn on if the room is very dark. When set to a lower level, the lights will turn on even in moderately lit conditions. This feature is useful for energy saving during daylight hours.
