Please read and understand all safety precautions before using your telescope. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the equipment.

• Never look directly at the Sun through your telescope or its finder scope without a professionally made solar filter. Permanent and irreversible eye damage, including blindness, can result.

4. Pemasangan dan Persediaan

Follow these steps to assemble your telescope. It is recommended to perform initial assembly indoors in a well-lit area.

4.1. Tripod Setup

1. Carefully remove the tripod from its packaging.
2. Spread the tripod legs outwards until they are fully extended and locked into place.

1. Locate the dovetail bar on the optical tube and the dovetail clamp on the single fork arm mount.

4.3. StarSense Camera and Accessories Installation

1. Attach the StarSense camera to its designated bracket on the optical tube. Secure it with the provided screws.
2. Connect the StarSense camera cable to the AUX port on the mount.
3. Insert the star diagonal into the visual back of the optical tube.
4. Insert the lowest power eyepiece (e.g., 40mm Plossl) into the star diagonal and secure it with the thumbscrew.
5. Attach the finder scope to its bracket on the optical tube.

4.4. Caj Bateri Permulaan

The NexStar Evolution features an internal rechargeable Lithium Metal battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the provided power supply to the mount's power input and plug it into a wall outlet. The charging indicator light will blink during charging and become solid when fully charged. Initial charging typically takes 4 to 8 hours.

The included hand controller allows for manual navigation and selection of celestial objects. Use the directional buttons to move the telescope and the menu buttons to access various functions like GoTo, alignment procedures, and utility settings.

5.3. WiFi Control with SkyPortal App

The NexStar Evolution features integrated WiFi for wireless control via your smartphone or tablet. Download the Celestron SkyPortal app from your device's app store.

1. Turn on the telescope. The mount will broadcast a WiFi signal.
2. Connect your smart device to the telescope's WiFi network (e.g., "Celestron-###").
3. Open the SkyPortal app. The app will automatically connect to the telescope.
4. Use the interactive sky map to select objects. The telescope will automatically slew to your chosen target.

5.4. Focusing and Observing

Once an object is centered in your eyepiece, use the focus knob on the optical tube to achieve a sharp image. Start with the lowest power eyepiece (highest focal length) for a wider field of view, then switch to higher power eyepieces for more magnification as needed.

• Dust on the front corrector plate should be removed with a camel hair brush or a can of compressed air.

• Never touch optical surfaces with bare hands.
