Step 1: Prepare the Ceiling Plate
- Locate the desired mounting position on your ceiling. Use a stud finder to locate wood studs or ensure the concrete ceiling is suitable for drilling.
- Position the ceiling plate and mark the drilling points. For vaulted ceilings, the base allows up to 60 degrees of swivel to accommodate the angle.
- Drill pilot holes according to the marked points and the type of ceiling material.
