The Escali DR1 Digital Kitchen Timer is designed for precise time management in various settings. It features an extra-large display for easy readability, countdown and count-up functions, a clock mode, and convenient mounting options.

2. Persediaan

2.1 Pemasangan Bateri

The Escali DR1 timer requires one (1) AAA battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Cari penutup petak bateri di bahagian belakang pemasa.
2. Luncurkan penutup ke bawah untuk membuka petak.
3. Masukkan satu bateri AAA, pastikan kekutuban yang betul (+/-) seperti yang ditunjukkan di dalam petak.

2.2 Pilihan Penempatan

The timer offers two convenient placement methods:

• Belakang Magnetik: Utilize the strong magnet on the back of the timer to attach it to metallic surfaces such as refrigerators or ovens.
• Kickstand: Extend the built-in kickstand on the back to place the timer upright on any flat surface, including countertops or tables.

3. Arahan Operasi

3.1 Fungsi Butang

• Butang M: Used to set minutes for the timer or adjust hours in clock mode.
• Butang S: Used to set seconds for the timer or adjust minutes in clock mode.
• Butang MULA/BERHENTI: Initiates or pauses the timer.
• CLEAR Function: Pressing the M and S buttons simultaneously clears the current timer setting.

3.2 Menetapkan Jam

When the timer is not actively counting, it displays the time in clock mode. The format can be 12-hour or 24-hour.

1. To adjust the time, press and hold the MULA/BERHENTI button for approximately 3 seconds until the hour digits begin to flash.
2. Tekan ke M butang untuk melaraskan jam.
3. Tekan ke S butang untuk menyesuaikan minit.
4. Tekan ke MULA/BERHENTI button again to confirm the time and exit setting mode.

3.3 Setting a Countdown Timer

Masa undur maksimum ialah 99 minit dan 59 saat.

2. Tekan ke M button repeatedly to set the desired minutes. Hold the button for faster adjustment.

4. Tekan ke MULA/BERHENTI butang untuk memulakan kira detik.

3.4 Starting, Pausing, and Stopping the Timer

• Kepada mulakan the timer after setting, press the MULA/BERHENTI butang.
• Kepada jeda the timer during countdown, press the MULA/BERHENTI button once. The display will flash.
• Kepada resume the timer, press the MULA/BERHENTI butang lagi.
• Kepada berhenti the timer and reset it to the last set time, press the MULA/BERHENTI butang semasa pemasa dijeda.

3.5 Mengosongkan Pemasa

To clear the current timer setting and return the display to "00 M 00 S", press the M dan S butang serentak.

3.6 Recall Last Timer Setting

The timer can recall the last set countdown time. After the timer has been cleared or stopped, press the MULA/BERHENTI button once to display the previously set time. This is useful for repetitive tasks.

3.7 Count-Up (Stopwatch) Function

Untuk menggunakan pemasa sebagai jam randik:

1. Pastikan paparan pemasa menunjukkan "00 M 00 S". Jika tidak, tekan butang M dan S buttons simultaneously to clear any previous setting.
2. Tekan ke MULA/BERHENTI button. The timer will begin counting upwards from "00 M 00 S".
3. Tekan ke MULA/BERHENTI button to pause the count-up.
4. Tekan ke MULA/BERHENTI button again to resume or press M dan S simultaneously to clear.

3.8 Alarm and LED Indicator

When the countdown timer reaches zero, an audible alarm will sound, and the red LED indicator light will flash to signal that the set time has elapsed. Press any button to silence the alarm.

4.1 Pembersihan

Store the timer in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.

• Paparan kosong atau malap: Check if the battery is installed correctly and has sufficient power. Replace the AAA battery if necessary.

• Timer does not turn off: The Escali DR1 timer is designed to always display either the timer or the clock. It does not have a dedicated power-off button. To conserve battery during long periods of non-use, remove the battery.
