1. Pengenalan

This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper use, assembly, and maintenance of your Jané Epic + Koos Travel System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

The Jané Epic + Koos Travel System combines a versatile stroller with a lightweight infant car seat, designed for comfort, safety, and ease of use from birth up to 13 kg (approximately 18 months). Its urban and pioneering design features a robust tubular aluminum chassis, hardwearing PU tyres, and independent, long-travel suspension for excellent maneuverability and a smooth ride.

• Always secure your child with the harness system when using the stroller or car seat.

• Do not overload the stroller with additional bags or accessories, as this may cause instability.
• The Koos car seat is designed for infants from birth up to 13 kg (Group 0+). Do not use for children exceeding this weight limit.
• Always install the Koos car seat correctly in your vehicle according to the car seat's specific instructions and your vehicle's manual. The Koos car seat includes an Anti-Rotation device for greater protection.
• Regularly inspect the product for loose parts, damaged components, or worn fabric. Discontinue use if any damage is found.

The Jané Epic + Koos Travel System includes the following main components:

• Jané Epic Stroller: Features a lightweight aluminum chassis, reversible seat, adjustable handlebar, and robust wheels with independent suspension.
• Jané Koos Infant Car Seat: A lightweight Group 0+ car seat with a 3-point harness, side impact protection, and a canopy.
• Penutup Hujan: (May be included depending on package) Provides protection from weather elements.

4. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

4.1. Stroller Assembly (Jané Epic)

1. Membuka Casis: Release the folding lock (if engaged) and lift the handlebar until the chassis clicks into place, indicating it is fully open.
2. Memasang Roda: Insert the front and rear wheels into their respective slots until they lock securely. Ensure they are firmly attached by pulling on them.
3. Attaching the Seat Unit: Align the seat unit with the chassis connectors. Push down firmly until you hear a click, confirming it is securely attached. The seat is reversible and can be faced forwards or backwards.
4. Melaraskan Hendal: Press the buttons on the side of the handlebar to adjust it to your desired height.

4.2. Car Seat Installation (Jané Koos)

The Koos car seat can be installed in a vehicle using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt or attached to the Epic stroller chassis using the Pro-Fix system.

4.2.1. Vehicle Installation

1. Place the Koos car seat on the vehicle seat, ensuring it faces rearward.
2. Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated guides on the car seat.
3. Buckle the seat belt and pull it tight to remove any slack, ensuring the car seat is firmly secured and does not move more than 1 inch in any direction.
4. Refer to the separate Koos car seat manual for detailed vehicle installation instructions and compatibility.

4.2.2. Attaching to Stroller Chassis (Pro-Fix System)

1. Ensure the stroller chassis is fully unfolded and locked.
2. Remove the stroller seat unit if it is attached.
3. Align the Koos car seat with the Pro-Fix connectors on the stroller chassis.
4. Lower the car seat onto the connectors until it clicks securely into place. Verify it is locked by gently lifting the car seat.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1. Using the Jané Epic Stroller

• Sistem abah-abah: Always secure your child with the 5-point harness. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height and ensure the harness is snug but comfortable.
• Baring Kerusi: Use the recline mechanism (usually a lever or button on the back of the seat) to adjust the seat to multiple positions for your child's comfort.
• Reversing the Seat: To change the seat direction, disengage the seat from the chassis (as if removing it), turn it around, and re-attach it until it clicks.
• Brek: Engage the foot brake located near the rear wheels when the stroller is stationary. Ensure both wheels are locked.
• Melipat Stroller: The Epic features a patented folding system, making it 10% more compact. Typically, this involves pressing release buttons on the handlebar or chassis and collapsing the frame. The seat can often be folded with the chassis.
• Penggantungan: The stroller features independent, long-travel suspension with 2 shock absorbers on the rear wheels for a smooth ride.

5.2. Using the Jané Koos Infant Car Seat

• Pelarasan Abah-abah: The Koos car seat features a one-pull 3-point safety harness for easy adjustment of length. Ensure the harness straps are at or below your child's shoulders when rear-facing.
• Membawa pemegang: The handle can be adjusted to multiple positions for carrying or stability when placed on the ground.
• Kanopi: Extend or retract the canopy to provide shade and protection for your infant.

6. Penyelenggaraan dan Penjagaan

• Fabrik Pembersihan: The fabric covers can typically be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and cold water. Refer to the care labels for specific instructions. Do not machine wash or tumble dry unless specified.
• Bingkai Pembersihan: Wipe the chassis and plastic parts with a damp kain dan sabun lembut. Keringkan dengan teliti.

7. Penyelesaian masalah

• Roda berdecit: Clean the wheel axles and apply a silicone-based lubricant.
• Abah-abah sukar dilaraskan: Ensure the straps are not twisted and the adjustment mechanism is free of debris.
• Car seat not attaching to chassis: Verify the Pro-Fix connectors are aligned correctly and push firmly until a click is heard. Ensure no fabric is obstructing the connection.
