4. Operasi

The sand filter pump features a 6-function control valve and a built-in timer for convenient operation.

4.1. 6-Function Control Valve

The multi-port valve allows you to select different modes of operation:

• Penapis: Normal filtering mode. Water passes through the sand bed, trapping debris.
• Basuh belakang: Reverses water flow to clean the sand bed. This expels trapped debris out through the waste port.
• Bilas: Used after backwashing to settle the sand bed and flush any remaining dirty water to waste.

7. Matikan pam.
8. Set the multi-port valve back to the 'Filter' position.
9. Turn on the pump for normal operation.

5.2. Strainer Basket Cleaning

The pump includes a strainer basket to catch larger debris before it reaches the sand filter. Regularly check and clean the strainer basket to maintain optimal flow and prevent pump damage.

1. Turn off the pump and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Close the plunger valves on the pool's inlet and outlet to prevent water flow.
3. Unscrew the strainer cover and remove the basket.
4. Empty and rinse the basket.
5. Replace the basket and secure the cover.
6. Open the plunger valves and reconnect power to the pump.

5.3. Sand Replacement

The filter sand typically needs replacement only once every five years, making it a low-maintenance filtration solution.
