4. Arahan Pemasangan

The Vimar Idea Series 2-pole switch is designed for panel mounting and features screw terminals for secure wiring. This switch is a 2-way circuit type, meaning it can control a load from a single location while interrupting both live and neutral wires.

4.1 Alat Diperlukan

1. Matikan Kuasa: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the power to the installation area. Turn it OFF. Use a voltage tester to confirm that the power is completely off at the switch location.
2. Sediakan Wayar: Strip approximately 1/2 inch (12-15 mm) of insulation from the ends of the incoming line wires (live and neutral) and the outgoing load wires (live and neutral).
3. Sambung wayar:
   • Sambungkan yang masuk live (phase) wire to one of the input terminals (e.g., top left).
   • Sambungkan yang masuk neutral wire to the other input terminal (e.g., top right).
   • Connect the outgoing live (phase) wire to the corresponding output terminal (e.g., bottom left).
   • Connect the outgoing neutral wire to the corresponding output terminal (e.g., bottom right).

   Ensure wires are fully inserted into the terminals and tighten the screws securely to prevent loose connections. A loose connection can cause overheating or malfunction.
4. Pasang Suis: Carefully push the wired switch into the wall box or panel opening. Secure it using the provided mounting screws.
5. Pasang Plat Dinding: Attach the decorative wall plate (sold separately) over the switch.
6. Pulihkan Kuasa: Hidupkan semula kuasa pada pemutus litar atau kotak fius.

5. Arahan Operasi

The Vimar Idea Series switch operates as a simple ON-OFF mechanism. It features a push-button actuator for control.

• To turn the connected device or circuit ON, press the switch button.
• To turn the connected device or circuit OFF, press the switch button again.

The switch is designed for reliable operation with a current rating of 16 Amps dan vol operasitage sebanyak 250 Volt.
