1. Pengenalan

The Yamaha EZ220 is a 61-key portable keyboard designed for beginners and experienced players alike. It features touch-sensitive lighted keys, a wide range of instrument sounds, and integration capabilities with Apple iPad for enhanced learning and performance.

2. Persediaan

2.1 Membongkar dan Meletakkan

Carefully remove the keyboard from its packaging. Place the keyboard on a stable, flat surface or a compatible keyboard stand. Ensure adequate space around the instrument for comfortable playing and access to connections.

2.2 Bekalan Kuasa

The EZ220 can be powered using either an AC adaptor (PA-3C/PA-130, sold separately) or six "AA" size batteries (Alkaline or Ni-MH). For extended use, an AC adaptor is recommended.

• Menggunakan Penyesuai AC: Connect the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the keyboard, then plug the adaptor into a standard AC outlet.
• Menggunakan Bateri: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard and insert six "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2.3 Connecting an iPad (Optional)

The EZ220 features built-in wireless connectivity for the free Page Turner iPad app. A specially designed clip is included to secure your iPad to the music rest.

• Download the "Page Turner" app from the Apple App Store.
• Follow the app's instructions to establish a wireless connection with your EZ220 keyboard.

2.4 Kesambungan USB

The USB TO HOST port allows you to connect the keyboard to a computer for use with various music software applications.

• Connect a standard USB 2.0 cable (Type A to Type B) from the keyboard's USB TO HOST port to your computer's USB port.

3. Arahan Operasi

3.1 Operasi Asas

• Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa: Tekan butang POWER untuk menghidupkan atau mematikan papan kekunci.
• Kawalan Kelantangan: Use the MASTER VOLUME knob to adjust the overall sound level.
• Pemilihan Suara: Select from 392 built-in voices, including Stereo Grand Piano, XGlite voices, drum kits, and sound effects. Use the VOICE section buttons and numeric keypad to choose your desired instrument sound.
• Pemilihan Gaya: Choose from 100 accompaniment styles using the STYLE section buttons and numeric keypad. Styles include Intro, Main x2, Fill-in, and Ending controls.
• Portable Grand Button: Press the Portable Grand button to instantly revert to the grand piano voice.
• Panel Sustain: Activate panel sustain for a longer note decay, similar to a sustain pedal.

3.2 Suite Pendidikan Yamaha (YA)

The EZ220 features the Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) with nine-step built-in lessons to help you learn at your own pace. The lighted keys guide you through songs.

• Dengar & Belajar: The keyboard plays the song for you to listen and learn the melody.
• Masa: Berlatih memainkan not-not tersebut mengikut masa dengan iringan.
• Menunggu: The keyboard waits for you to play the correct note before proceeding.
• Chord Dictionary: Learn various chords and their fingerings.

3.3 Using the Page Turner App with iPad

Once connected, the Page Turner app displays digital sheet music for 100 preset songs. The score automatically advances as you play, allowing you to focus on your performance.

• Select a song on the EZ220, and the corresponding score will appear on your iPad.
• The app also includes an audio recorder to capture and share your performances.

4. Penyelenggaraan

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Yamaha EZ220 keyboard.

• Pembersihan: Lap permukaan papan kekunci dengan kain lembut dan kering. Untuk kotoran degil, gunakan sedikit damp kain dan kemudian keringkan dengan teliti. Elakkan pembersih atau pelarut yang melelas.
• Storan: When not in use, store the keyboard in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and excessive humidity.
• Penjagaan Bateri: Jika menggunakan bateri, keluarkannya jika papan kekunci tidak akan digunakan untuk tempoh yang lama untuk mengelakkan kebocoran.

• Tiada Bunyi: Check if the power is on, the volume is turned up, and headphones are not plugged in (unless desired). Ensure speakers are not muted.

• iPad App Connectivity Issues: Ensure your iPad's Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (depending on app requirements) is enabled and the app is updated to the latest version. Restart both the keyboard and the iPad if necessary.
• Isu Kuasa: If using an AC adaptor, check the connection and the power outlet. If using batteries, ensure they are fresh and correctly inserted.
