For data logging and transfer, an SDHC card (not supplied) is required. Locate the SDHC card slot on the device and insert the card gently until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.

5.3 Sambungan Awal

1. Plug the Energie Logger 4000 F into a standard wall socket.
2. Connect the appliance you wish to monitor into the socket on the Energie Logger.

6. Arahan Operasi

6.1 Monitoring Energy Consumption

Once connected, the device automatically begins monitoring the power consumption of the attached appliance. The 3-line display provides real-time data.

6.2 Mod Paparan

Tekan ke MODE button to cycle through different display screens. These screens may include:

• Real-time Measurement: Shows instantaneous values for voltage, arus, kuasa, dsb.
• Cumulative Measurement: Displays total energy consumed over time.
• Cost Forecast: Provides estimated monthly or yearly costs based on current consumption patterns.
• Nilai Minimum/Maks: Shows the lowest and highest recorded values for various parameters.

6.3 Viewdalam Data Sejarah

The device can display the consumption and daily expenses for the past 9 days directly on its screen. Use the arrow buttons to navigate through these historical records.

6.4 Determining Operating Time

The Energie Logger 4000 F also tracks and displays the total operating duration of the connected appliance.

6.5 Measuring Standby Consumption

With its high accuracy down to 0.1 Watt, the device is ideal for precisely measuring the low power consumption of appliances in standby mode.

7. Data Transfer and Analysis

The Energie Logger 4000 F stores consumption data for up to six months internally. To access this data for detailed analysis:

1. Ensure an SDHC card is inserted into the device.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the device's menu to initiate data transfer to the SDHC card.
3. Safely remove the SDHC card from the Energie Logger.
4. Insert the SDHC card into a computer's card reader.
5. Use compatible software (often provided by VOLTCRAFT or available for download) to view, analyze, and store the collected data. This software typically allows for graphical representation and export of data.

8. Penyelenggaraan

8.1 Pembersihan

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.

8.2 Penyimpanan

Store the Energie Logger in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, when not in use for extended periods.

8.3 Penggantian Bateri

If the backup battery (CR1620) needs replacement, follow the instructions in Section 5.1. A depleted backup battery may result in loss of stored data during power interruptions.

• No Readings: Ensure the appliance is correctly connected to the logger and is powered on.
• Data Loss During Power Outage: Verify that the internal backup battery (CR1620) is correctly installed and has sufficient charge.
• SDHC Card Not Recognized: Ensure the SDHC card is inserted correctly and is formatted to a compatible file system (e.g., FAT32). Try a different SDHC card if issues persist.
