The Geberit DUOFIX Basic WC Element is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps for a secure and functional setup.

3.2 Frame Assembly and Positioning

• The frame is self-supporting and powder-coated for durability.
• Position the frame at the desired location. The mounting height is 1200 mm.
• Adjust the galvanised footrests to the required height (0 - 20 cm) to level the frame.
• Utilize the plastic foot panels for installation in U-shaped profiles UW 50.

3.3 Securing the Frame

• For wooden frame constructions, use the drill holes (Ø 9 mm) to fix the frame securely.
• Use the locating holes for Geberit DuofixBasic wall anchors to secure the frame to the wall.
• Ensure the frame is prepared for supports in WC ceramics with small support surfaces, if applicable to your WC model.

3.4 Cistern and Water Connection

• The UP cistern is designed for actuation from the front and is insulated against condensation water.
• Connect the water supply at the rear of the top center of the cistern.
• The element includes an empty conduit for a water supply pipe, facilitating future connection of Geberit AquaClean appliances.

3.5 Connection Elbow and Accessories

• The connection elbow assembly is designed for tool-free installation.

4.1 Flushing Mechanism

• The cistern supports 2-level flushing (3 and 6 litres) or a start-stop flushing mechanism.
• The factory setting allows for immediate re-flushing.

This WC element is compatible with Geberit DELTA series push plates. Ensure you use a compatible push plate for proper operation.
