4. Remove the old batteries. They may be snug and require gentle nudging.
5. Insert the new batteries, ensuring they fit correctly.
6. Connect the new battery terminals (red to red, black to black). A small spark may occur during the final connection; this is normal.
7. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with screws.
