1. Produk Lebihview

The Technoline WS 6720 is a weather station designed to provide essential weather information and timekeeping functions. It consists of a main base station (receiver) and a wireless outdoor sensor (transmitter).

Key features include a quartz clock with 12/24-hour display, date display, indoor and outdoor temperature readings, MIN/MAX temperature record, a 6-12 hour weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure, and an alarm clock with a snooze function.

2. Persediaan

2.1 Pemasangan Bateri

Both the base station and the outdoor sensor require batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the product.

1. Penderia Luaran: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert 2 x AAA Micro LR03 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
2. Stesen Pangkalan: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the base station. Insert 2 x AAA Micro LR03 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

Upon battery insertion, the base station will power on and attempt to establish a connection with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes.

2.2 Cadangan Penempatan

• Stesen Pangkalan: The base station can be placed on a table using its integrated stand or wall-mounted. Choose a central location indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to ensure accurate indoor temperature readings.
• Penderia Luaran: For the most accurate outdoor temperature measurements, place the sensor in a shaded area with good air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or areas near heat-emitting devices. The maximum wireless range between the sensor and base station is approximately 30 meters (100 feet) in open air. Walls and other obstructions may reduce this range.

3. Arahan Operasi

3.1 Initial Setup and Time/Date Setting

After battery installation, the base station will display default values. To set the time and date:

1. Tekan dan tahan butang SET / ALARM button for a few seconds to enter time setting mode.
2. Gunakan MAX / MIN button to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
3. Tekan SET / ALARM sekali lagi untuk mengesahkan tetapan dan beralih ke parameter seterusnya.
4. Repeat until all time and date settings are complete. The unit will automatically exit setting mode if no button is pressed for several seconds.

3.2 Paparan Suhu

• The display shows both indoor ('IN') and outdoor ('OUT') temperatures simultaneously.

• Partly Cloudy: Suggests some cloud cover.
• Mendung: Denotes significant cloud cover.
• Hujan: Forecasts precipitation.

The forecast is based on changes in atmospheric pressure and is an estimation. It may not always reflect immediate local conditions.

3.4 Fungsi Penggera dan Tunda

• Untuk menetapkan penggera, tekan butang SET / ALARM button once to display the alarm time. Press and hold SET / ALARM to enter alarm setting mode. Adjust using MAX / MIN dan sahkan dengan SET / ALARM.
• Untuk mengaktifkan/menyahaktifkan penggera, tekan butang AL ON / OFF button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
• Apabila penggera berbunyi, tekan MENGEJUTKAN button to activate the 5-minute snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 5 minutes.
• To stop the alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., SET / ALARM or MAX / MIN).

4. Penyelenggaraan

• Penggantian Bateri: Replace batteries in both the base station and outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
• Pembersihan: Bersihkan unit dengan lembut, damp kain. Jangan gunakan pembersih atau pelarut yang kasar, kerana ini boleh merosakkan paparan atauasing.
• Storan: Jika peranti tidak akan digunakan untuk tempoh yang lama, keluarkan bateri untuk mengelakkan kebocoran dan kerosakan.

5. Penyelesaian masalah

• No outdoor temperature reading:
  • Ensure both the base station and outdoor sensor have fresh batteries installed correctly.
  • Check that the outdoor sensor is within the effective wireless range of the base station.
  • Minimize obstructions (thick walls, metal objects, electronic devices) between the sensor and base station.
  • Try resetting both units by removing batteries, waiting a few minutes, and then reinserting them, starting with the outdoor sensor.
