1. Produk Lebihview

The Aiphone JE-1F-T is a monitor extension unit designed to expand your existing Aiphone JE series intercom system. It features a 3.5-inch TFT color LCD monitor, providing clear visual communication. This unit is compatible with JIS 1-gang switch boxes for easy installation.

Please note that internal communication between this extension unit and the master unit, or between multiple indoor units, is not supported. The system supports a maximum configuration of one entrance station and one master unit plus one extension unit.

2. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

2.1 Langkah Keselamatan

• Ensure power is disconnected before installation to prevent electric shock.
• Pemasangan hendaklah dilakukan oleh profesional yang berkelayakan.
• Jangan dedahkan unit kepada air atau kelembapan berlebihan.

2.2 Pemasangan

1. Prepare a standard JIS 1-gang switch box in the desired indoor location.
2. Ensure sufficient space for wiring connections behind the unit.

2.3 Pendawaian

The JE-1F-T unit uses an AC power direct connection. Connect the power supply wires (AC100V 50/60Hz) according to local electrical codes and the wiring diagram provided in the full installation guide (not included in this manual). Connect the communication wires to the master unit as specified in your system's wiring instructions.

• Connect AC power (100V, 50/60Hz) directly to the unit.
• Connect the communication lines from the master unit.
• Secure all connections properly to prevent disconnections.

3. Operasi

3.1 Menjawab Panggilan

• When a visitor presses the call button at the entrance station, the monitor will activate and an audible chime will sound.
• Press the 'Talk' button on the JE-1F-T unit to establish two-way audio communication with the visitor.
• To end the conversation, press the 'Talk' button again or the call will automatically terminate after a set period.

3.2 Monitoring the Entrance

• Kepada view the entrance station without a call, press the 'Monitor' button. The display will show the live video feed.
• Press the 'Monitor' button again to turn off the display.

3.3 Door Release (if connected)

• During a conversation with a visitor, press the 'Door Release' button to unlock the entrance door.
• Ensure the door release mechanism is properly installed and configured with your master unit.

4. Penyelenggaraan

4.1 Pembersihan

• Lap unit dengan kain lembut dan kering.
• Untuk kotoran degil, sedikit dampen kain dengan air dan kemudian lap kering.
• Jangan gunakan pembersih yang melelas, pelarut atau semburan kimia, kerana ini boleh merosakkan permukaan dan komponen dalaman.

4.2 Penjagaan Am

• Elakkan meletakkan unit di bawah cahaya matahari langsung atau berhampiran sumber haba.
• Jangan jatuhkan atau tertakluk kepada hentaman kuat pada unit ini.

5. Penyelesaian masalah

5.1 No Power to the Unit

• Check if the AC power supply is connected correctly and if the circuit breaker is not tripped.
• Sahkan bahawa salur keluar kuasa berfungsi.

5.2 Tiada Paparan Video

• Ensure all communication wires are securely connected between the entrance station, master unit, and extension unit.
• Confirm that the entrance station camera lens is clean and unobstructed.

5.3 No Audio During Call

• Check communication wiring for loose connections.
• Ensure the 'Talk' button is pressed during conversation.

5.4 Cannot Communicate Between Indoor Units

As stated in the product overview, the Aiphone JE-1F-T does not support internal communication between indoor units or with the master unit. This is a design specification of the product.
