Once plugged in, the Airfree P1000 begins its purification cycle automatically. For continuous air purification, it is recommended to keep the unit powered on at all times. The device operates on the principle of natural air convection, meaning it does not use a fan, contributing to its completely silent operation.
How the Thermodynamic TSS Technology Works:
- Contaminated air is drawn into the base of the appliance by negative pressure created by the rising heated air.
- The air passes through a ceramic core with 32 mini-ducts, where it is heated to approximately 400°F (200°C). This intense heat sterilizes the air by destroying 99.99% of microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, and pollen.
- Sterilized air then passes over a ceramic cooling plate.
- The purified and cooled air is released back into the environment.
