2.1 Membongkar dan Pemeriksaan

Carefully remove the Silverline 656602 Drain Cleaner from its packaging. Inspect the entire length of the wire spiral, the corkscrew attachment, and the handle for any signs of damage or defects. Do not use the tool if any damage is observed.

2.2 Memasang Pemegang

The drain cleaner comes with a separate handle that needs to be attached to the end of the wire spiral. Slide the handle onto the bent end of the wire until it is securely in place. Ensure the handle is firmly seated to allow for proper rotation during operation.

4. Work Through the Blockage: Continue to push and rotate the handle, gradually feeding more of the 10-meter wire into the pipe. If the wire becomes stuck, try rotating it in the opposite direction or pulling it back slightly before pushing forward again.
5. Retrieve the Blockage: Once the blockage feels clear or you have hooked onto it, slowly pull the wire back out of the drain. Be prepared for debris to emerge with the wire.
6. Flush the Drain: After removing the blockage, flush the drain with hot water to clear any remaining residue. If the drain is still slow, repeat the process.

4.1 Pembersihan

After each use, thoroughly clean the wire spiral and corkscrew attachment. Use warm, soapy water and a brush to remove any debris, grease, or hair. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent rust and maintain the tool's durability.

Coil the drain cleaner neatly and secure it to prevent tangling. Store the tool in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Proper storage ensures the longevity and readiness of the drain cleaner for future use.

• Wire gets stuck: If the wire encounters significant resistance and stops advancing, try rotating the handle in both directions while applying gentle pressure. If it remains stuck, pull the wire back a short distance and try again. Avoid excessive force.
• Blockage not clearing: For very stubborn blockages, especially those involving hardened grease or mineral deposits, consider using a chemical drain cleaner first to soften the obstruction. Allow the chemical cleaner to work as per its instructions, then attempt to use the Silverline drain cleaner again.
• Difficulty determining depth: To track how far the wire has been inserted, you can mark the wire at 1-meter intervals with a permanent marker before use. This helps in understanding the location of the blockage.
• Wire twisting: Ensure you are rotating the handle smoothly and consistently. If the wire twists excessively, pull it back slightly and re-feed it into the pipe, maintaining a steady rotation.
