5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Making Coffee/Espresso

1. Ensure the machine is on and "ready" is displayed.
2. Place one or two cups under the height-adjustable coffee spouts.
3. Pilih Kekuatan Kopi: Press the 1-cup button once for mild, twice for regular, or three times for strong coffee. The machine grinds from 5 to 15 grams of coffee.
4. Pilih Saiz Cawan: Turn the rotary dial to select the desired cup size from 1 to 8 ounces. The 2-cup button will produce twice the selected amount.
5. The machine will automatically grind the beans, perform a two-step pre-infusion cycle for maximum flavor extraction, and then brew your coffee.
6. Menggunakan Kopi Pra-Ground: For decaf or flavored coffee, use the separate funnel for pre-ground coffee. Add one scoop of pre-ground coffee to the funnel before selecting your brew.

5.2 Frothing Milk (Latte/Cappuccino)

1. Ensure the machine is heated and "steam ready" is displayed.
2. Position a pitcher with cold milk under the Dual Frother Plus.
3. The frother offers two settings: one for latte (steaming milk) and one for cappuccino (steaming and frothing milk). Adjust the frother nozzle to the desired setting.
4. Activate the steam function using the control panel. Carefully steam or froth the milk to your desired consistency.
5. After frothing, clean the frother immediately by dispensing a small amount of steam into an empty cup to clear any milk residue.

The frother can also dispense hot water for Cafe Americano or tea.

1. Place a cup under the frother.
2. Select the hot water function from the control panel. The hot water function is programmable from 1 to 16 ounces.

Nota: A common issue leading to weak coffee or grounds spilling into the drip tray can be a clogged filter disc within the brewing unit. This disc, located behind the brown plastic flap inside the opening where the drip tray sits, can be gently wiped clean with a damp paper towel to improve coffee flow and quality.
