4.1. Connecting for Battery Testing

1. Connect the black clip to the negative (-) terminal of the 12V battery.
2. Connect the red clip to the positive (+) terminal of the 12V battery.

• The test must be connected to the positive and negative terminals of a single 12V battery.
• It is prohibited to test via an extension lead.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1. Battery Testing Procedure

The FOXSUR FTC-1206 can test both car and motorcycle batteries. Follow these steps for accurate testing:

1. Connect the positive (red) and negative (black) clips to the battery terminals as described in Section 4.1.
2. The device will power on and display the current status.
3. Use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons to navigate and select the appropriate battery type (CAR or MOTO). Press 'ENTER' to confirm.
4. For CAR batteries, you will be prompted to input the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) value. Adjust the value using the arrow buttons and press 'ENTER'. (Refer to your battery label for CCA values).
