Welcome to the Ausom L1 ABE Electric Scooter user manual. This guide provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and optimal performance of your new electric scooter. Please read this manual thoroughly before your first ride to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Ausom L1 ABE is designed for urban commuting, featuring a powerful 500W motor (930W peak), a 48V 15.6Ah battery offering up to 70 km range, and a top speed of 20 km/h. It includes advanced safety features like E-ABS and disc brakes, a 360° lighting system, and a ShocFree suspension system for smooth rides.

4. Persediaan dan Pemasangan Awal

4.1 Membuka Lipatan Skuter

Your scooter comes folded for transport. Follow these steps to unfold it:

4. Carefully lift the handlebar stem until it clicks into place, ensuring it is fully upright and locked.

4.2 Pelarasan Ketinggian Hendal

The handlebar height can be adjusted to suit riders between 140 cm and 200 cm for optimal comfort and control.

1. Locate the quick-release clamp pada batang hendal.

3. Ensure the handlebar is aligned straight with the front wheel.

3. You can also unlock by entering your passcode directly on the display.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

• To power on, press and hold the power button on the display until the screen illuminates.

5.2 Mod Kelajuan

The scooter offers three speed modes:

• Eco Mode (10 km/h): For relaxed cruising and maximum battery efficiency.
• Sport Mode (15 km/h): Ideal for daily commutes with a balance of speed and range.
• Race Mode (20 km/h): For maximum power and speed.

Switch between modes using the dedicated button on the handlebar controls.

5.3 Sistem Brek

The Ausom L1 ABE is equipped with E-ABS (Electronic Anti-lock Braking System) and front & rear disc brakes for reliable stopping power.

• To brake, gently squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars.
• The E-ABS system helps prevent wheel lock-up during sudden braking, enhancing control.
• Always apply brakes smoothly to avoid skidding.

5.4 Sistem Pencahayaan

The scooter features a 360° lighting system for visibility:

• Lampu depan: Located at the front of the handlebar stem.
• Isyarat Belok: Integrated into the sides for indicating turns.
• Lampu belakang: Located at the rear fender.

Ensure lights are on when riding in low-light conditions or at night.

5.5 Paparan LCD

The 4.5" LCD display provides real-time riding information, including speed, battery level, and distance traveled. Familiarize yourself with the display layout before riding.

6. Penyelenggaraan

6.1 Pengecasan Bateri

• Always use the original charger provided with your scooter.
• Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port, then plug it into a power outlet.
• Masa pengecasan adalah lebih kurang 11 jam untuk pengecasan penuh.
• Jangan cas bateri secara berlebihan. Putuskan sambungan pengecas setelah pengecasan selesai.
• Store the scooter in a cool, dry place when not in use, and charge it periodically if stored for long periods to maintain battery health.

6.2 Tekanan Tayar

Maintain optimal tire pressure for safety and performance. The best tire pressure for the 10"×2.75" tubeless rubber tires is 50 PSI.

6.3 Pelarasan Penggantungan

The scooter features swingarm suspension with adjustable springs. The damping effect can be adjusted using a C-shape spanner (recommended size: 45-52 mm) to adjust the nut on the upper end of the spring. Turn it clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen.

6.4 Pembersihan Am

• Lap skuter dengan iklanamp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or corrosive cleaning agents.
• The scooter has an IP54 waterproof level, meaning it is protected from dust and splashing water, but it is not fully waterproof. Avoid submerging it or riding in heavy rain.

• Scooter does not power on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check all cable connections.
• Reduced range or speed: Verify tire pressure is at 50 PSI. Ensure the battery is fully charged. Riding conditions (terrain, rider weight, temperature) can affect performance.
• Brakes feel loose or ineffective: Inspect brake pads and discs for wear. If necessary, have them adjusted or replaced by a qualified technician.
• Unusual noises during ride: Check for loose components. Inspect wheels and suspension for any obstructions or damage.
• NFC/Passcode unlock not working: Ensure the NFC card is correctly placed on the reader. Re-enter the passcode carefully. If issues persist, consult the full user manual or contact support.

Note: Max range and speed are based on Ausom lab tests with a fully charged battery, optimal tire pressure, a 70kg load, a 20–25°C temperature, wind below 3m/s, dry flat asphalt/concrete roads, and slope-free routes over 1km for range at 15km/h and over 0.5km for top speed at full throttle; actual results vary with terrain, weather, rider weight, and habits.

9. Petua Pengguna

• Regular Tire Checks: Always check your tire pressure before riding. Maintaining the recommended 50 PSI significantly impacts ride quality, range, and safety.
