4. Pemasangan (Persediaan)
Follow these steps to properly install your water pump strainer:
- Identify Flow Direction: Locate the arrow on the black head of the strainer. This arrow indicates the direction of water flow. The strainer must be installed with the arrow pointing towards your water pump.
- Prepare Hoses: Ensure your 3/8 inch hoses are clean and free of debris.

5. Operasi
Once installed, the water pump strainer operates continuously to filter water before it reaches your pump. Water flows through the 50 mesh stainless steel screen, trapping sediment and debris in the transparent housing. The transparent design allows for easy visual monitoring of the screen's condition and the amount of accumulated debris, indicating when cleaning is required.
This strainer is a practical solution for various applications, including sprayers, pressure washers, floor scrubbers, drinking water pre-filters, car washes, marine raw water filters, and vacuum pumps.
6. Penyelenggaraan
Regular cleaning of the strainer is crucial to maintain optimal water flow and protect your pump. The transparent housing makes it easy to determine when cleaning is needed.
- Matikan Bekalan Air: Before performing any maintenance, ensure the water pump is turned off and the water supply to the strainer is shut off to prevent water flow.
- Disconnect Hoses (Optional): If necessary, disconnect the hoses from the barb fittings for easier access.
- Unscrew Housing: Simply unscrew the transparent container bowl from the black head of the strainer.
- Remove and Clean Screen: Carefully remove the 50 mesh stainless steel screen. Rinse the screen thoroughly under running water to remove all accumulated debris. You may use a soft brush if needed.
- Inspect O-Ring: Check the body O-ring for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace if necessary to ensure a proper seal.
