5. Arahan Persediaan

To use the Baseus PortalJoy Series 13-Port HUB, ensure your device (laptop, tablet, etc.) has a full-featured Type-C port that supports charging, data transfer, and DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode).

1. Connect the HUB: Plug the Type-C connector of the HUB into a full-featured Type-C port on your host device.

6. Mod Operasi

The HUB supports various display configurations, including single, dual, triple, and quadruple displays. Note that only Windows systems support quadruple display.

6.1. Single Display

Connect one monitor to any of the HDMI1 (4), HDMI2 (5), DP (6), or VGA (7) ports. The maximum resolutions are:

• DP: 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz
• HDMI1/HDMI2: 4K@60Hz
• VGA: 1080P@60Hz

6.2. Multiple Displays (Windows Only)

For extended or mirrored displays, connect multiple monitors to the available video output ports. The HUB supports up to four displays simultaneously on Windows systems.

6.3. Smart Port Recognition

The indicator light (12) on the HUB provides information about the connected port:

• Indicator flashes: The connected port is not a full-featured port or Thunderbolt port, and does not support video output for screen casting.
• Indicator stays on: The connected port supports screen casting, data transmission, and charging.

7. Troubleshooting (FAQs)

1. Why cannot cast a screen through the HDMI port?

2. Why is the resolution not up to what is advertised?

   This HUB is compatible with DP1.2 and 1.4, but the actual resolution ratio depends on the hardware of the connected device. If the connected device (laptop, HDMI cable, display) cannot meet the promoted resolution ratio of this product, then it cannot project with the highest resolution ratio.
3. Mengapa produk panas semasa operasi?

   It is normal for the HUB to generate heat during operation. The HUB has a built-in chip; the more types and quantity of interfaces a HUB has, the stronger processing power and more heat the chip delivers. Shells made of metal materials have better heat dissipation to prevent the chip from overheating, causing instability or failures such as disconnection.
