4. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

4.1 Langkah Keselamatan

  5. LED pateri: Solder the 10 LEDs (D1-D10). LEDs are polarized. The longer lead is the anode (+) and the shorter lead is the cathode (-). The flat edge on the LED body also indicates the cathode. Match these with the PCB markings.
  6. Solder Potentiometer: Solder the 50KΩ potentiometer (R4) into its position.
  7. Solder Power Connector: Solder the power input connector (J1/CON2).
  8. Insert ICs: Carefully insert the NE555 and CD4017 ICs into their respective sockets. Ensure the notch or dot on the IC aligns with the notch on the socket and the PCB marking. Press gently until fully seated.

5. Arahan Operasi

  1. Sambungan Kuasa: Connect a DC power supply (within the 2.5V to 14.5V range) to the power input connector (J1/CON2) on the PCB. Ensure correct polarity (+ and -).
  2. Kefungsian: Once power is applied, the circuit will immediately begin operating. The LEDs (D1-D10) will light up sequentially, creating a 'flowing water' or 'chasing light' effect.

  • No LEDs light up:

    • Ensure R4 is the correct value (50KΩ).
    • Verify all connections around the NE555 timer circuit, especially resistors R2, R3, R4 and capacitors C1, C2.
