   Identify whether to use the back outlet or the bottom outlet for the controlling cable based on your installation requirements. If using the bottom outlet, you may need to cut off thin areas with nippers or a similar tool and remove any burrs with a file.
4. **Connecting the Controlling Cable:** Connect the provided controlling cable(s) to the appropriate terminals on the back of the controller and to your Hitachi Central Air Conditioning unit.
